Litho plate. Litho plate is very thin good quality aluminium sheet that has been used for printing. Aluminium work hardens so the litho plate is usually very stiff and not easily formed. By heating the litho plate with a MAP gas touch you can make the aluminium very malleable and easy to form again. Your imagination is the limit to what you can form with thin aluminium sheet. Been working on a flight radar system for our field.. We have a 1800ft ceiling at The Scale Aviators. So I built a ADS-B receiver system that picks up aircrafts transponders and provides, Speed, GPS location , height and other details from about a 80 km radius. This Scale Aviators local system helps fill in any gaps in the global ADS-B system because we are nested within the NAAS valley. I have set the system up so that it will only display aircraft below a threshold height that we can set on the day. The system will then automatically broadcast a loud audio message that we define when any aircraft enter our defined model flying field watch area ( greater than our line of sight) below our defined set height.
